Sankhya Yoga

Sankhya Yoga teaches that there is an indestructible, Universal Soul. Krishna asked Arjuna to do his duty, renounce the fruit of his actions, realize the impermanence of sense-objects, and give up ego and attachment. Sankhya Yoga is the way of the wise, who can reason the Truth and think their way to detachment, simplicity, and lack of ego. My personal analogy is this: a wave that identifies with the ocean is eternal. A person who identifies with the universe is eternal. It is not I versus the Universe or I and the Universe – it is "I am the Universe."
